We live in KISD, and go to the "good" schools within it. Not that any of them are bad :) But I have been looking around, and have a feeling of wanting more. We have three children though, and can't really afford to send all three of them to private schools unless I am working full time, which I don't want to do. There are some schools that are school 2-3 days and you homeschool the rest, which seems ideal to me. It costs less that way, but still is a lot. I'm okay with homeschool, but my husband is not a huge fan of the idea. He is a teacher in the district too, and feels like it's hypocritical if our kids don't go to the schools too. So I was just wondering what your opinions on the public schools here are? Most all of our friends are in public schools, so they aren't to helpful or supportive of the idea.
